Jimmy Fishbein – Portraits

Jimmy Fishbein has always been passionate about creating raw and real visual images that tell a story. His journey began via a paintbrush and canvas, but when he serendipitously stumbled upon an old camera in his parent’s garage, his life’s journey was forever altered. Jimmy studied still and motion picture at the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, and upon completion of his degree he moved to New York City to further hone his craft. Six years as an apprentice under some of the finest photographers in the field, including Arthur Elgort, Ellen Von Unwerth, Andrew Southam, Matthew Jordan Smith, and George Lange, amongst others, facilitated further growth as both an artist and an individual. Jimmy is an eclectic talent who one day may be shooting an editorial for TIME magazine and the next day directing a viral video advertising a campaign for KFC. He thrives on diverse and complex projects that allow him to utilize the education he received at Brooks and the experience he earned in both New York and Chicago.
